MEET BCSOK

About Us

Breast Cancer Survivors Oklahoma, is a qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit tax-exempt organization. BCSOK was founded in October, 2019 by a group of breast cancer survivors with a mission to assist, comfort, encourage, bring hope and support to those fighting breast cancer.  A sisterhood was formed.  We focus on being there for our members on a personal level, throughout their entire journey from the beginning, during and after breast cancer treatments are finished..

With the unwavering dedication of our volunteers and the unrelenting support of our community, we are able to provide a lifeline of essential services to the Oklahoma breast cancer community, including:

  • We offer our members free transportation to and from their breast cancer treatment appointments with project BUBER.

  • We cover the entire cost of mammograms for those who are uninsured or fall under the insurance age restriction guidelines.

  • "Soothing Sanctuaries" is an all expense paid weekend getaway for a late stage breast cancer fighter plus one guest.

  • Welcome packages for all new members, and a handmade with love box for those fighting breast cancer.

  • Crocheted Cleavage for those that are not having reconstruction or are experiencing delayed reconstruction.

  • Social Network / Medical Experts / Mentorship / Special Events / Get togethers / Monthly areola tattoo giveaway.

  • Medical fund disbursement plan to assist breast cancer patients that are experiencing a financial burden due to their breast cancer diagnosis.

  • We deliver gift bags filled with helpful items to local hospitals to hand out to patients following breast surgery.

Notably, none of our breast cancer fighting and surviving members are charged a fee for any of our events or services, because everyone deserves access to hope and healing!

Breast Cancer Survivors is a voluntary organization. None of our officers receive a salary.

Breast Cancer Survivors Oklahoma does not and will never discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, gender, gender expression, age, national origin, ancestry, disability, marital status or sexual orientation in any of its activities, programs or operations.

We know that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. Back in 2019, our Nonprofit Organization realized that by working together we could bring hope and support to our breast cancer community much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch Breast Cancer Survivors Oklahoma.
